Nazia Ali

Head of International, Social Enterprise Academy

Based in Scotland, Nazia leads a global network of social enterprise hubs across a number of countries. Nazia is passionate about social movements and interested in localising the field of social entrepreneurship across different cultures and contexts. She has worked across Universities in the UK in the field of social entrepreneurship. At Oxford’s Skoll Centre, Nazia spearheaded the development of the Social Impact Lab, a year-long programme with a focus on practitioner-based learning. Nazia previously worked at a start-up incubator to support the growth of social entrepreneurs in a low-income regional area and is a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum. She has also worked in refugee camps in Lebanon to improve access to education for Syrian and Palestinian refugees.
